Our classic sailing yacht Vita Bel is ideal for experiencing a different side of the Balearic bliss, sailing along the tranquil beauty of the Levantine coast of south-east Mallorca. Suitable for junior sailors up to salty old sea-dogs and all ages in between, the memorable sunset is only part of the experience; you will also see the natural, secluded bays and coves of the Cala d’Or area and get to see a side of Majorca not seen from the land. Join our trusted crew and experience 5-star service on the waves.
Along with the character and charm of a yacht with history, we offer perfect access for guests of all ages and physical ability with our hydraulic lifting platform. A guest with limited physical ability can be transferred with a wheelchair or crutches from the jetty to the deck in only a moment, our experienced crew will manage the maneuver and then secure the chair while we are sailing.
Swimming time will be a pleasure for all as our teak framed platform will descend from deck level to 0.5 meters below the sea surface. Before a swim step onto the platform – sit down – platform descends, float-off. After a swim, float-on, sit-down, platform ascends, step off on to deck. No ladders, climbing, trips or risk of a fall. Our crew are attentive and will ensure you have a safe, relaxing experience. Flotation aids are supplied.
No other day charter boat in Mallorca has such a feature.

Explore Cabrera Island National Park
For this amazing charter, we transfer the boat over-night to Colonia St. Jordi where we will meet you in the port at 09:00 for the 2.5-hour sail to Cabrera Island. The advantage of leaving from here is that we benefit from the easterly winds sailing in both directions across the straits. The rocky islands provide a scenic back-drop as we tack in between them, often seeing dolphins as we weave our way into the sheltered bay under the watchful parapets of the 16th-century castle on the hill built to protect the small population and military base from attacks by marauding pirates.
Once moored, you can take a swim in the clear blue water and notice the many varieties of fish swimming peacefully in this marine life sanctuary. We can then take you across to the small island port. If you have booked a guided tour of the island we will prepare a snack and water bottle for you to take (approximately 2.5 hours).
If you don't want the full tour, an interesting option is to take the steep walk (about 15 minutes for someone fit) up the well-trodden rocky path to the 400-year-old castle and take some impressive photos of the bay, sea, Mallorca and each other from the tower. The view from the top across the 10 mile stretch of sea to Mallorca is impressive and over the island, you can also see the remains of the prison built to house thousands of prisoners during the Franco-Spanish wars. Although, not quite Alcatraz it gives a good sense of what it must have been like as a French prisoner all those years ago watching and hoping for relief ships bringing much-needed food and supplies.
The seas here are teeming with fish-life due to net fisherman being banned from the area; this results in frequent dolphin sightings, huge sea-bass and many other delicacies from the sea. Notice – no fishing or scuba diving without a permit.
A guided tour of the island is very interesting due to the many rare species of flora and fauna living un-disturbed on the island since before its use as a gunnery range a hundred years ago when it was requisitioned from the family who had owned it for the previous 300 years through the British invasion and retreat, French occupation, attacks by pirates and reconquest by the Spanish. We can arrange a tour for you by request.
We return to the boat where a 3-course grill lunch is served on board with a platter of exotic fruits. After lunch, we motor across to 'The Blue Grotto' where our 3 metre motorised RIB takes you for a swim inside the cave - it is stunning! You'll see what we mean when you swim inside and look up at the roof! After the swim, we begin the sail back to Mallorca, normally arriving between 20:00 – 21:00. Snacks and tapas are served on the return sail. You are welcome to stay on board with us if you wish during the transfer back to Marina Cala d'Or, instead of stopping at Colonia St Jordi - an additional 3 hours on board at no extra cost.
This is an amazing day that will leave you with plenty of good memories and photos.
